1952 Ford F-1 Truck Project For Sale Solid Condition Good start for restoration or build a custom. I'm selling a 1952 Ford F1 pickup truck that I bought in Central California not too long ago. I was planning on building a custom truck. I started collecting parts for a solid start. I have also removed the poorly applied gallons of bondo. Extra Parts that I have collected for the Truck. (Invested over 500 in these parts alone) Could easily get 1/3 or more of your money back by selling the extra parts. Extra Grille Teeth (These are popular for customizing) This Truck does nto have a motor or transmission. You can choose whatever you like. More SPecs. There were 81,537 Deluxe Cab and standard cabs, V8 and 6 cylinder combined, made in 1952. This one's the Standard Cab version. I have decoded the VIN and other data to get more info about the Ranchero: VIN: F1R2RH21462 F1 - F1 truck R - 239 Flathead V8 2 - 1952 RH - Richmond, CA assembly plant 21462 - production sequence number for the Richmond, CA plant 4700 maximum GVW, 114" wheelbase, 96 horsepower at 3400 RPM, 3 speed regular transmission; 3.92:1 gear rear axle, "G" - Glenmist Green color, "21 A" January 21 production date. From what I know, the truck spent most of its life in the dry heat of California's central valley. From what I can tell, the truck is nearly all complete. It even has a complete spare tire assembly, a 6 volt electrical windshield wiper motor, and a glove box VIN Data tag that is usually missing. Please note that Ford omitted the VIN tag on the firewall in 1952. I did verify the VIN on the right frame rail to match the VIN tag in the glove box.. The truck is missing the original engine and transmission. The bed also contains a second custom or aftermarket rear bumper that could be attached. It's more of a heavy duty bumper. The current rear bumper that's attached to the truck is factory correct. Most trucks of this age don't even have a rear bumper! The truck is very solid for being over 50 years old. The front fenders have minor rust through at the bottom where they connect to the running boards. The bedsides, bed header panel and all four cab corners are all good with no rust through. The tailgate is in very nice condition with only two minor, repairable, cracks. (I have gotten a extra tailgate in better condition) The doors are straight with no rust through. The windows still roll up and down and the doors latch closed. The running boards are straight with no rust through either. Rear fenders are in very good condition. Only body damage is to the underside of the upper right fender (only remaining body panel to collect for resoration/paint), hood latch panel and left grill tooth. The bumper valance panel has been cut to accept some non-stock lights. I have gottena stock rteplacement (not shown in photos)Note the condition of the cab floor. It's perfect! There's absolutely no rust through anywhere on the floorbard. The seat moutning areas are still round and perfect. The truck rolls and steers, but no brakes. Please look at all photos. I try to explain the vehicle's condition as detailed as possible. If there's something that I missed and you'd like to know, email me. Vehicle is sold as is, where is, with no warranties. Mileage is not actual. Sale is Final. Comes with a Bill of Sale. $1500.00 Email aaron at 50 chevy dot com or call Four one Five Two Nine Seven Zero Five Three Two
